MS Bruckmadl

THE NOSTALGIC SHIP WITH A CASUAL-MARITIME CHARME

The fleet in Regensburg got a new member in 2015: The Bruckmadl combines the history of the city with the history of the shipping company. Strictly speaking, you can´t call it a “new” ship: The Bruckmadl cruises upon the Danube in the service of Wurm + Köck (now called Wurm & Noé) for decades. For 50 years it was called “Agnes Bernbauer” and was build at April 30th in 1965 for the shipping company Ludwig Wurm from Irlbach near Straubing. The founder of Wurm + Köck, Erich Wurm, originated from this family business. Since the foundation of Wurm + Köck with his collegue from Passau, Hans Köck, the “Agnes Bernbauer” is part of the fleet. For its new home dock in Regensburg the ship was renovated and has now a modern casual-maritime charme with a nostalgic touch. It also got a new name – a hommage to Regensburg´s famous sight, the Stoned Bridge. The Bruckmadl has three salons, which also can be rented separately.
